Ultrasonic leak detection kit with transmitter for non-pressurized applications The Amprobe TMULD-300 leak detector kit can quickly and easily find leaks in areas where leaking gases are not sufficiently pressurized. When leaks occur in pressurized areas such as air lines refrigeration systems and steam lines they often generate an ultrasonic frequency that is beyond human hearing. TMULD-300 leak detector kits are built around Amprobe’s ULD-300 ultrasonic leak detector which converts these sounds into an audible range for easy detection. The TMULD-300 also includes the Amprobe UT-300 ultrasonic transmitter which creates ultrasonic sound waves for detecting cracks and leaks. The system is excellent for testing the “air-tightness” of weather seals tanks ovens refrigerators as well as locating leaks in ductwork. The TMULD-300 is unaffected by contaminants and will detect gas leaks of any type.
